-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

- No one declared a patent.

- Anders: European IBIS summit next week
  - We will have no IQ meeting May 11

AR Review:

- Mike ask Antonio Orlandi to join us
  - Email sent, no reply yet.

- Moshiul find reference and test data sets for some example model
  - No report.

New items:

Mike: We might want to reduce meeting frequency to every 2 weeks
  - Contributions are coming in slowly
- Bob: That would be good
  - IBIS activities are currently very time consuming

Bob: Manfred Mauer at Siemens will be at SPI
- He is active in IBIS
- The Siemens IBIS web page seems to still be active
- Manfred asked what should go into a standardized IBIS quality report
- Mike: I have concerns about being involved in this
  - These reports are differentiators for companies
- Lance: This group is important
  - We should focus on methods for validation
- Mike: Meaning correlation?
- Lance: Yes

AR: Mike ask David Banas if he might be able to join us

Mike: Should we pursue more IBISCHK bug reports from the IQ checks?
- Bob: We have an ongoing IBISCHK bug-fix project
  - This may complicate that
  - We have limited money
  - Easy checks are OK
  - Checking the work takes time too
  - 9 bugs would be fixed
    - One on [Test Load] scoping would be a difficult change
- Mike: [Test Load] may be important to our group
  - We have to be sure fixtures for golden waveforms are flexible enough
- Bob: Greg Edlund had promoted it

Mike: Would golden waveforms be worth pursuing?
- Anders: Yes
  - It will have to be in external files
- Mike: Should we propose [External Test Load] and [External Test Data]?
- Anders: We should wait for IBIS Interconnect SPICE
- Mike: Should we take up the IIS effort?
- Bob: It was mostly held up by dangling references
  - Walter did an excellent job
  - There are some decisions to made about S-params too
- Anders: We should look at IIS

AR: Mike email IIS link to IQ list
AR: Mike ask Walter about IIS readiness

Next meeting will be May 18

Meeting ended at 12:01 PM Eastern Time.
